Breakfast is normally served in the dining room between 7:30am and 9.00am. Early starters are willing catered for with prior notice.
Wherever possible we use as many locally produced products as we can source. We continue to monitor issues involving fairtrade, environment, sustainable and quality farming practices when making decisions on suppliers and produce purchases.
Local beers are supplied by the Northumbrian based Allendale Brewery, who produce a range of bitters and ales with a traditional twist and award winning quality.
Quality House Wines are sourced from Corney & Barrow.
Free range eggs and local milk.
Likewise local sausage and bacon and other meats products are supplied by carefully selected suppliers using as much regional farming produce as manageable.
The Samson Inn, our local pub/bistro in the village of Gilsland provided quality seasonal lunch and evening menus.
Packed lunches are ordered fresh each morning from Meg's Tearooms in Gilsland, priced from £3 depending on your order.
